The artist Flávia Junqueira presents in Germany her first solo exhibition, Symphony of Illusions, thanks to Galerie Voss, with the collaboration of Reiners Contemporary Art.
Flavia Junqueira creates and produces scenes where the real and the fictitious, the physical and the allegorical, the present and the past, the adult and the child are combined; where history becomes memory. The artist creates imaginary and festive landscapes. In her works, the balloons are the performers who take the stage, be it the theater, the street or the sky.
In Symphony of Illusions, her first solo exhibition in Germany, she shows nine large-format staged photographs and a video installation. The set of pieces is the result of the interventions that the artist undertakes in architectural complexes with a marked historical patina in different locations around the world. From June 10th to July 8th, Galerie Voss will be showing her work, especially the one she produced last October at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the city of Barcelona.
